We are basing our work on Kiwi icons which is the work we have just recently completed this term in SST. Some facts about NZ are that we have three official languages: Maori, English and Sign language and we have more sheep than people in NZ and we have a town with the longest name in the world.
In SST this term we learnt about New Zealand icons and facts about them like where they are located in NZ and why they are significant to our county. Some things that I learnt while researching about Kiwi icons are locations of places and why our icons are significant to Aotearoa.
